DESCRIPTION

Attractive hourly rates are available. Accommodation and travel reimbursement are available for Engineers interested in working for regional Councils in NSW.

You will need tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, or Equivalent (Degree or Diploma required); at least 5 years experience in the practice of Civil Engineering; demonstrated experience in any of the fields of Works, Design, Traffic, Project Management or Water/Wastewater Management.

Also desirable are experience in contract administration; strong negotiation and conflict management skills; high level of communication skills, both oral and written; and a current Australian Class C driving license.

Previous Local Government or equivalent experience in NSW in related positions is a requirement for the positions.
